In her presentation Gili will speak about factors behind Israel as a Startup nation by telling her personal life story. She will also talk about her initiative – a partnership between Innosphere in Colorado and Horizon GreenTech Ventures in Israel - that will connect between strong Israeli startups in the CleanTech industry and Colorado industry leaders.

About the presenter:
Gili Elkins is the Managing Director, Strategic Growth of SynTech Bioenergy, a waste-to-energy company located in Denver and penetrating the Israeli market. She leads the Stanford ACT Group in Denver and consults to the Boomtown Accelerator in Boulder. Gili is an Israeli lawyer, worked at Ernst & Young as a Tax Consultant, was the founder and CEO of wordprom.com and has served in the Israeli Defense Forces. She earned her LL.B and BA in Law and Business from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her MBA from Stanford University.
