In the years preceding World War II\, an unusual friendship between American boxing champion\, Joe Lewis\, and German boxing great\, Max Schmeling\, and wise-guy strategist and boxing manager Joe "Yussel the Muscle" Jacobs (played by Tovah)\, starts to develop. In order to preserve their special friendship\, they must confront the lies of Joseph Goebbels (Hitler's Minister of Propaganda) in a whirling 90-minute adventure.\n\nA Play in Development   A Unique Format\n\nWith original cast members from the show's Minneapolis world premiere as well as a new ensemble member flying in from Germany\, Theatre Or is only the second theatre company to host a presentation of this new play as it journeys to New York.
